There are 3 Must Try restaurants at Lankershim and Moorpark in North Hollywood: Mexican, pizzaria and this one. Good food! Good service!
Great Thai food. Bit on the sweet side but very good.
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Recommended!
We came on a Saturday night and the restaurant had a perfect flow of customers. We didn't have to wait to get seated at 6:30.Ordered a starter of roti and calamari followed by green curry with beef, house noodles with beef and yellow curry with chicken finished off with mango sticky rice. The roti was delicious but extremely rich. Tasted like and felt like a quarter stick of butter in those 4 halves. The roti came with two sides of sauce, a fish sauce with onions and chili and a thicker peanut sauce. The calamari has a light batter which I prefer. It came with a sweet and sour sour of sauce on the side.I enjoyed my green curry. I wasn't asked for spice level but mine came out relatively mild.I asked for less sweet on Thai iced tea and it came out just the way I wanted.Park on street. Weekends after 6pm are free at the meters up front. Otherwise you'll have to pay.
Thai food, yeah, very delicious. I like it here always quality food & service. The staff was helpful and kind. This place has an awesome atmosphere.
One of my favorite spots. Very clean spot
My favorite thai food whole of los Angeles. In don't miss a chance to have food here. The green curry ,drunken noodles and the bloody lychee are all my favorites. Please visit this small wonderful place to give your taste buds a great refreshment.
Rustic Spoon is one of the better restaurants in the area. The customer service is hard to beat, and the food quality is high. I thought the Pad Thai was not great, but that wasn't a big deal. The Green Curry is packed with flavor, and the portions are big. The fresh spring rolls are a highlight too.
We had the Drunken Noodles, Yellow Curry, Tom Yum, and Papaya Salad. Everything was very good. I'll definitely be back. I'd recommend it.
Sooo good! It's a small inconspicuous place, but man, the food is delish! I keep coming back for their tuna tar tar, I just crave it!
The beef pho is delicious! They also have the best yellow curry I've ever had. Everything I've ordered from there tastes authentic and fresh. Sometimes it takes a bit to get the check but the staff is always friendly and makes us feel at home.
Delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff. Cozy dining either indoors or outside.
This place is excellent and broad, the food was yummy and the rates were very fair. rapidly, effective service and very affable waiters. Highly recommended.
Affordable prices and good taste!
I'm sure everything here is good but the two things I highly recommend you do if you come here is get their Roti Bread & Curry Noodles (It takes similar to Khao Soi from Thailand but another dish all on it's own)!
I especially love the Vegan Veggie Rolls, Tom Kai & Green Jungle Curry!
Food was outstanding! Ambiance was outstanding. Service was outstanding. One of our new “go-to” Thai spots.
Great for a quick eat! Food and drinks were fantastic. Nice find after googling "food near me"
Day #2 after grand opening in Magnolia section, tried their drunken noodles and it was an explosion of rich flavors with a perfect hint of spicy notes to enjoy the meal, it brought me back to when I traveled to Thailand. Their food was amazing and service as well!
We enjoy to go out. Last night we went to this superb place which we didn’t know before. We passed a beautiful experience there with fine food and a nice team and a talented chef. We put this venue in our list and we will definitely come back very soon. Highly recommended.
Came across this place online with very high ratings and gave it a shot. I'm very glad I did. The food is incredibly tasty (tried the filet with pumpkin sauce, spring rolls, and eggplant with curry). The service was good, but when we asked what the waiter would recommend, he said everything (not helpful lol). There a tables both outside and inside and it can also accommodate groups. I'd definitely want to come back here again.
I was excited to try this place out. I thought thai and vietnamese fusion would have a lot of flavor. The dishes look great but was missing the flavor. I had to ask for chili paste to finish my meal. The pad thai was a bit oily for my taste. The thai tea was the highlight of the meal. It tasted like thai tea and came in a good size cup. Over all I was disappointed because the price did not justify the lack of taste in the dishes I order.
I went here after spending the day at Universal Studios. It was only about a mile away from the park and soooo worth it. This is the first place I've given five stars too.Table service was splendid. Although one of the few customers here, the waitresses paid close attention to us and asked me and our family of 5 if we were all eating well. They packed our to-go box and were super polite.Food wise, this is THE best place to go to for your casual, dinner date or quick grub. We had papaya salad, Pho Filet Mignon (ironic isn't it), Chicken skewers, Rice rolls, green curry, Pad Thai. Unbelievably, every single dish was a 5/5. Our ages range from 8 to 50 and they all enjoyed it. Quality was beyond my expectations.
Busy Thai-Vietnamese restaurant with very good food and generous servings.
I lived in NOHO when they opened, and the pad see ew was so amazing I've been comparing every other restaurant to this ever since. I think it's been 11 years now? We've moved so sadly I can't be a regular, but I was in town today, and it's just as good as I remembered
This restaurant is my preferred one. I eat in many restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the food they serve is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a nice dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
We love Rustic Spoon. We came to their first location on Lankershim Blvd whenever we're on the neighborhood. Best Thai food. Tonight we went to their new location on Magnolia, Valley Village and tried their Italian dinner. It was crazy good. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Thank you Rustic Spoon. We will be back soon! And definitely recommend everyone to pick up, dine in or for delivery. ❤
The service is constantly speedy, lovely character, nice employees. I will return again when I am nearby.
The food was delicious and flavourful! Everything was a bit too sweet though, but still very tasty. I reccommend the drunken noodles!
Ordered the panagan curry with tofu. The rice was a little under cooked and the curry was very cream but I wish there was more veggies and the tofu wasn't just slabs but overall food was good. Very cute spot too!
Good food. Fast service. Nice cozy restaurant. Their roti bread is just delicious. Pad thai noodles are too sweet but drunken noodles are simply awesome.
Not to bad ill say i wish they had thought the seating through a little more but all around not bad
My favorite Thai food in LA. Veggie spring rolls are AMAZING. Everything I’ve had from there is spot on. Staff has always been super friendly and they have always been quick with takeout.
We tried so many things and all of them were delicious. Trust me on this one, you'll love it.
The food is always fresh and delicious, employees hands out excellent customer service. I really like how clean it is and atmosphere. Will come visit again.
Omgggggg sooooo goooddd
Next level Thai food. My favorite place in la for 5 years running. Service is stellar, food is phenomenal, I will continue to come here until the day I die. Thai iced tea is lit and house made. You won't regret coming here!!
The place offers a great variety of fresh food. I enjoy dining here. The employees are always very kind, prices are convenient and the spot is always neat.
Delicious early dinner, great service. Highly recommend the Roti
Tried this place already with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I like the fantastic mood and delightful dishes and drinks. 5 stars.
Amazing Taste and very good food! The peanut sauce for the veggie spring rolls is amazing. The pad Thais has a very good somewhat sweet taste. Just add a little lemon and it makes the flavors pop out. Highly recommended. Their drinks are also very good and lunch specials are reasonably priced. will be coming back soon!
The food just wasn’t very good. It’s supposed to be Vietnamese Thai fusion, but they basically have a few Thai dishes and a few viet ones. The flavor just isn’t there, and the four dishes we had didn’t have much meat. Overall pretty disappointing given the cost and rave reviews
last night was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the attentive service, with the finest cuisine and booze and with the decent pay. We will no doubt return there soon.
The RUSTIC SPOON is a low key charming eatery in No Ho with an expansive menu.First of all, an $11 Bbq chicken entree comes with a generous helping of jasmine rice and a fresh green salad . (no extra charge for the sides)I used to go here a lot and yesterday returning I remember why. They serve you cold water ( cucumber infused) in a metal cup. Such a nice touch! The menu is large and varied. The Thai curry and soups are standouts. Also the Appetizers can substitute for entrees. The Appetizer Calimari with a dipping sauce is the most delicious EVER !!It competes with seafood in Bangkok or 🇮🇹 Italy. There is a covered patio with heaters and ample tables and benches inside.Very nice and accommodating staff insures a pleasurable dining experience at ease for your pocketbook.
Good place to get a cup of coffee and lunch
Good food and good service!
Tom kah soup was below average. It's lacking the typical depth of flavor. Filet mignon pho was super tender, soup base was good. Crispy pork was super crispy. But spinach tastes weird and the sauce was over powerful. Wish it was on the side. We found parking behind the restaurant but the restaurant only had a few tables. Not sure where to park during a normal day.
This is literally the best Thai food in LA. I’m here and I don’t want to leave. The panang curry with tofu is amazing. The menu is a little more refined than your average Thai spot but still reasonably priced. I love all the Valley Thai standbys but this place is just a notch above. Love it.
Great service, great food. Small place. 6 tables available to sit outside. Eggplant with chili and chicken was great. Shrimp spring rolls was good with curry sauce. Filet mignon Panang was off the hook as in excellent. Vietnamese iced coffee was very traditional and tasty.
Food is always great! Service nice. Relaxing ambiance and clientele.
